Official news from World Without Cows
New documentary filmed in 40 global locations over three years explores the impact of cattle on economies, ecosystems, cultures and human nutrition
With unique access to those on the front lines of agriculture and science, journalists Michelle Michael and Brandon Whitworth share an up-close look at the real impact of cows on our world — and the potential consequences of their absence.
Their journey of discovery takes viewers from the heartland of the United States to cattle-rich regions in Kenya, India, Brazil and beyond — to explore the cultural and economic significance of cows, their role in feeding the world and their impact on the environment.
Through interviews with economists, food producers, environmental scientists, nutritionists, professors and other experts, World Without Cows invites viewers to consider the complex and often surprising ways cows shape our world. It aims to start an important conversation about agriculture’s role in nourishing people and revitalizing the planet.
